On the 24th of June 2020, the second online event of the Seeding project was focusing on France, Ireland and Germany. After a brief introduction and some updates about the upcoming written outcomes of the project, such as Background paper and case studies on the website, three very different but equally exciting cases were presented from the countries.
France Barter is a truly innovative company where members exchange goods and services between each other – without money. From Ireland, after a country insight, Speedpak Group was presented. The company is more of a commercial business but with a significant social impact to show how to use digitalisation tools for the better. 4freelance recruitment eG is a German platform cooperative that aims to provide a fair alternative to staffing for freelancers.
The workshop was then followed by a discussion that provided even more opportunities for the more than thirty participants to ask questions directly to the speakers, not only using the chat function of the application.
Thank you to everyone who joined and participated!
The last occasion – of the first series of online meetings – is expected to take place during the summer, and will focus on Italy and Spain.
